Christmas Eve Tag

I spent Christmas Eve working on this tag. I've entered this tag as a challenge on Simon Says Stamp and Show blog for yesteryear.
I used distress inks, pearl embossing powder and rock candy stickles on the background. I love the shimmer, it looks much better in real life.
Several blue alcohol inks were used over the texture embossed die cut deer. While the alcohol ink was still wet, I poured clear embossing powder over the deer and then heat embossed to give a fabulous look.
The tag was made using Tim's Movers and Shapers; Love.
Tim's Alterations reindeer die and a snow flurries die cut made into a foam stamp was used on this tag.
Additions supplies:
Decorative Snow, sequins and Christmas garland. Glue Dots is the only thing I found to hold the iridescent star on my tags.
This was my first time to use the Decorative Snow. It was bought 5 years ago. It was put on with a artist knife. And first time to use sequins on my tags.
I hope this tag fits the challenge for yesteryear.

CCC # 24

I made this challenge tag with Tm Holtz and Ranger products: rock candy stickles, texture fades, tree die, flourish die, distress inks, tissue tape, assortment of stickles and ticket. I wish you could see how beautiful rock candy stickles looks on this tag.
The little star is from the craft store.

Day 12 Wish

This one was made while visiting my mother, I didn't take the right colors with me so we used what she had on hand, red embossing powder. For the background, I copied a paper napkin then applied to the tag.

Day 11, Peace

Here is my 11th tag for the 12 Days of Christmas Tim is showcasing on his blog. I didn't have the snow to put on the tree. I discovered while die cutting the tree and placing another tree off center it cast a shadow and made it look similar to snow.
Supplies from Tim and Ranger
Fibers, ribbon, button my stash
Stamp: Above the Mark.

Day 10 Merry Christmas

I made my tag similar to Tim; view his Here
I used a different texture fade embossing folder and didn't add the holly to the hat.

Merry Christmas stamp SA
The deer and houses are from my Silhouette digital cutter.
Snowflake stamp: Rubber Stampede
Sentiment: Hampton Art
Diamond Dust
Comments Welcome!

Day 7 Poinsettia Tag

I had fun making this tag. I used Tim's elegant flourishes and tattered florals die. Peace digital die cut, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Sizzix die leaf. Distress stickles and distress inks. Fabric covered grungepaper flower and leaf were inked with a mixture of distress reinkers and perfect pearls. It was easy to adhere the flowers using my cordless glue gun.

Part 2 of Day 6

I was inspired to make another tag from viewing Tim's Christmas tag day 6. I used Tim's dies, inks, stamps, texture fades along with my supplies. Glass crystal beads were added as an embellishment.
You can find more inspiration each day viewing Tim's blog. http://www.timholtz.typepad.com/

Christmas Tag Day 6

This is the first day I had most of what Tim used on his tag #6. I used Tim's Seasons Greetings mini-stamp, tree texture fades, deer die, yard stick, music tape and distress inks on my tag.
To change my tag, I used a swirl texutre fade on the deer, my own stamp for the background, mini-holly garland found at Hobby Lobby, bow from paper ribbon and for the rack on deer; a portion cut from bare tree tezture fades. Gold texure from Dabber paint.
Tim's hammer was used on the fasteners. The seam binding was painted with the same paint I used on the deer.

Day 5, Poinsettia

Portions of my tag was made like Tim's 12 Tags of Christmas Day 5

I used white dabber paint on edges of the tag before adding barn door, fired brick and aged mahogany and then realized my Santa was too small.
I used Tim's idea on the holly with Stickles.
The poinsettia was inked with Archival black and then colored with Marvy brush markers and Distress Stickles.
Holly stamp: Tim Holtz Mini Christmas Set. Poinsettia and Merry Christmas: Penny Black.

Day 4 Blue Snowman

I'm glad to call this one finished. It was out of my comfort zone using all the trims and beads. The only thing I could find that resembled what Tim used, this facet found in a two pk yesterday at our local craft store.
I inked and stamped it three times before I decided it looked best just alcohol inked.
I love the blue glitter tape from 1969, it was found when going through MIL stash of supplies this year. She loved crafting.
Beads, trims and ribbon from my stash.
Glossy accents was my adhesive.
Faded jeans distress ink was used on snowman, music and snowflakes. Sail boat blue alcohol inks on facet. All stamps from Tim Holtz Mini Holiday #2 sheet of stamps from SA.

Day 3 Red Bird with Santa

I had fun gathering up supplies to make this tag. DH found the tree branch on the floor at our local craft store. The clip art Santa from my stash. The music and alcohol inked bird has a lot of detail, it looks better in real life. The button in center of music tape flower is from my vintage stash.
Inks, dabber paint, alcohol inks, grungeboard, stapler, memo pin and tape from Ranger.

Christmas Tag #2

I used Tim's directions on his blog to make Tag #2. I looked through my stash of stamps and supplies to use on this tag.
It was fun to get out my reinkers to make my custom ornament ink pad used on this tag.
.
Supplies:
Medallion, bird and trimming from my stash.
Stamps: Ornament from Stamping Place, Happy Holidays from Hero Art, Music from Delta, Texture from Stampa Rosa.
Archival inks, Distress inks and Ink Applicator from Ranger.
Clear embossing powder.

Tag #1 [12 Days of Christmas]

My tag was made using the instructions from Tim Holtz December 1st. I used supplies from my stash as well as Ranger products. I crocheted the wreath and then laced it with thin wire to hold a shape. Thinking of an idea for a tree I looked at scraps of grungeboard on my craft table. I cut very small pieces to look like a bare tree, twisted and then added wet snow designed for bisque ceramics. I used what I had available. The snow was made with molding paste, on top of that glossy accents, on top of that glitter. The house was made like Tim shared with the notebook embossing folder although for my house it was made with a die cut from Silhouette Digital Cutter. I use snow texture designed from bisque ceramics on the paper fence.
