Wedding Day Couple

Here is another stamp image Hearts in Touch.
I love how the background turned out on this card.
The photostamp image was inked and watercolor crayons were used to color the image.
#137 Antique Swirls by Hearts in Touch. Update: this stamped image is now available at Viva LasVegas rubber stamps.
The music tape is from Tim's idea-ology.
Satin ribbon on top tied in knot.

Sweet

It's been some time since I had new stamps to cut and mount.
I inked the photostamp image with Archival Black on glossy cardstock. For a change in coloring this stamp image; I used distress inks with nibs and sponge applicators. The leaf and word was die cut using coordinating designer paper. A portion of another stamp from set was inked and stamped over word using walnut stain distress ink.

Update: Hearts in Touch stamps are now on VSLV.

Designer paper from K&Co was used on this card, word and leaves die cut.

Queen of Hearts

I had fun creating this tag using Tim's Winter Wonder alterations die, scribble stain distress technique on the background and fired brick ink and glossy accents on alphabets.

Gold dabber paint on the grungeboard crown, foam dots left over from a die cut for the eyes. Rick-rack paper for the nose. Scarf inked with fired brick dye ink. I used fired brick and clear rock candy on heart die cut. Netting from my stash. The hand was repositioned to hold the heart as seen in photo.

Sweet Story

This is my first project using the house, fence and sweet die.
The lady I know from Hobby Lobby was adding new stock, she was throwing away a perfectly good piece of corrugated cardboard, she said I could have it. I cut the house die with the corrugated cardboard, next I painted the house with expresso dabber and then used white dabber over the brown to make a weathered look. To get the color behind the window I used alcohol inks on clear film. and then applied scrapbook paper behind the film. The scrapbook tree die was cut and highlighted with peeled paint and heat set with peeled paint distress stickles. I used  peeled paint to color sweet die cut, stamped music over the word and then used peeled paint distress stickles. I used white crackle paint on the fence. Foam applicator on edges of tag with peeled paint ink.
The story idea-ology ticket was added to fence.
Dies used: House, tree, fence and sweet all from Tim and Sizzix.
Tim's distress ink: Ranger
Scrapbook paper: 8 x 8" Designer Series from K & Co.

Bingo Kid

~Happy Birthday Tim Holtz~
This is a project I made July 2005 from a book review: distressables by Tim Holtz.
This was a fun project to make using paper, stickers and glossy accents from Ranger and Tim Holtz. Clock hands, bottle cap and vintage curlers from my stash.

Project from the Past

From May 05 through March 09 I reviewed a different craft book or DVD each month showing examples. The supplies I used were from my own stash. When we did challenges, sometimes the item was furnished to us. The online zine closed March 2009.  I was a stamping design team member of SSReflections.
One of my favorite pieces, this shadow box made from book-board and a light switch cover with Tim's Alcohol Inks, distress inks and stamping supplies from my stash.

I drilled holes in the cover and box and then attached it will copper wire.
The inside was made with fabric glued to book-board and then stamped with various images.
This challenge was made October 2005.
