Letter to Paris

With a few stamps from my stash, a few stamps from my mother's stash this tag was easy to make. I've had this little magnetic typewriter die for months, this is the first time to use it on this tag.

Prima supplies: postage stamp, flowers, tag.
140 lb cold press watercolor paper on smooth side with Archival black ink to stamp Prima doll images.
Vintage lace was added to tag to finish. I used 3-D dots to raise the mixed media doll.

Cute Prima Doll

When you can't sleep you play with stamps, I covered this tag using another page from Prima 6x6" pad. Designer paper was used on the dress using a Prima mixed doll. All three flowers were made from different manufactures; one from Tim's  poinsettia die, one from Prima and one from my Silhouette die cutter. Velvet leaf from my stash. Gold and sequin bling was added along with Viva gold. Love the little butterfly embellishment it's from the clearance isle as Michael's.
Seam binding trim from my vintage stash.

Prima Doll Goes to Paris

Today my Prima mixed media doll is going to Paris. I used Prima mixed media doll stamp, Tim Holtz Eiffel Tower die and embossing folder, Silhouette digital die cut flowers with stamen and bling, butterfly and supplies from my stash.
I discovered I could make my own dots using Viva Paper Pen. (those are the ones next to Eiffel Tower)

Life Moments

I can't stop making tags and adding these dolls from Prima to my altered pages. I put a heart bling in her hair. I used one of Tim Holtz word stamps along with stamps from my mothers stash. The dress is from a 6 x 6" Prima paper pack. The flower was made using my Silhouette Digital Craft Cutter. Stamens were added to center.
Tag, mixed media doll stamp, dress designer paper and flower border stamp all from Prima.
Bling is from Hobby Lobby.
Image was inked with Archival black on 140 lb watercolor paper.
Other ink from Archival sepia.
Watercolors from my stash.
I love to collect and use my vintage seam binding.
That's it today! I'll post another one tomorrow.

Carnival Themed Challenge

The moment I saw these stamps the idea came that I could make a carousel, I used a few HIT stamps, punches, card stock, paper, chop sticks, Lumiere metallic gold paint, embossing ink and powder, watercolors, an empty roll of plastic wrap, plastic lid as a base and lots of glue.

I have memories of something like this outside our little grocery store as a kid.

I'm submitting this project for a carnival themed challenge over on Simon Says Stamp Blog: http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/challenge-carnival/

Life is Good

Prima Dolls, Prima Dolls!

Recently I spent six days with my mother, wish it could have been longer. A few days we played with our Prima doll stamps.
I can't wait to share some of the tags with you.
The dress is one of my favorites, Who would guess? It was made using my Gelli Printing Plate.

Prima Doll Tag

I really like how this tag turned out. I used Tim's distress inks and word stamp, Prima mixed media doll stamp, tag and flowers. Also designer paper for dress. Tiny flower stamp inked with archival black. Prima image was inked on watercolor paper with archival black ink.
Archival Black is my favorite black ink.
For colorful background tag I used Wrinkle Free Distress Technique from Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 online class 2012.

Prima Dolls by Jo Adair

Last month Mother and I purchased Prima Dolls.

When we were visiting this past week I was amazed at all the tags she had made. She doesn't have a way to upload so I'm sharing them here for her.
I know my Mother would be thrilled to see your comments.

Update: Sunday evening:
Reading the comments here and on Facebook, I've uploaded three of the tags mother gave me when we were down visiting her.
Doesn't see do a wonderful job on these tags. My mother is 87 years young.
