Mia All Dressed Up

If you are like me, you purchase designer pads and let them sit months before cutting into them and then when you do, you are pleasantly surprised with the results. This is what happened to me when I opened this black and white pad and cut into it to make this background piece. I used some of Tim's bright distress inks to apply color over the background.
Before preceding, I trimmed and applied my designer background to a 4x8" manila tag.
Next, I applied the stamped manila tag to the inked designer paper. It doesn't show is the photo but the designer paper has glitter on the flowers.
Distress inks were used to add color to designer paper for dress, shoes and hair band.
To finish my tag I used Prima flowers, Tim Holtz flourish die cut, Mia by Julie Nutting mixed media paper doll, bling and stamped background tag. Mia was inked with black archival ink on 140 lb watercolor paper. Watercolor crayons were used to apply hair and coloring to face, arms and legs.
The designer cardstock pad is by Cloud 9 Design.
In person it had a lot of glitz.
