12 Tags of 2012 ~ May

This for my 12 tags of 2012 for May and this is Tim's tag:
While I didn't use all the trinket Tim shows, I did use lots of his supplies.
I used Tim's new on the edge Honeycomb die with Distress Glitter and filled it with a few of Tim's stamped images. I used fun foam to make a stamp from Umbrella Man die, it was then inked with Archival black and then stamped on large tag.  I also used his word stamp at the top and one of his gears die cut with kraft color chipboard. Distress ink was used to frame the tag. Background was made with stencils and paint from my stash.
Yes, I'm late again making a tag. For a few months, I have had a difficult time seeing. I called my eye doctor, he scheduled me to see Dr Conley an eye specialist at Triad Eye Medical in Tulsa, I choose blade-free cataract and astigmatism surgery. My right eye is almost healed, I can't wait for surgery on my left eye.

Merci

The pink portion of this card was made with Gelli printed paper.  Inside this card, another Gelli print. The dress on "Swing Dress" image was made with a Gelli printed paper. (the part with light color is actually silver paint) Love this paper! I've got enough to make one more dress.
Behind the Julie Nutting stamped image is a tag made with a Gelli. (this was made with my brayer to remove extra paint)
Prima stamps were inked to add to card front. Rounded corner was made with my Zutter tool. Smash dots paper tape was used to front on card.

Remember Family and Friends

I was having fun last week with my Gelli printing plate, if you have worked with these plates, you know that you can get lots of prints, this tag was made from the third pull.
I love how it turned out and thought it would be perfect to use with my Natalie stamped image by Julie Nutting along with some of my newest stamps by Fiskars. I used some of my newer and older Prima flowers on this tag with Tim Holtz Chit-Chat and pen nib. Tim's distress vintage photo ink was applied in and around the tag. One of Prima 6" paper pad was used to make her dress. I used my water brush with watercolor crayons to add color skin tone, hair and shoes.
Bling by Paper Studio was added to flowers to finish.

Roman Holiday

It would be impossible to created another background like this because I stamped over Gelli printed paper using lots of cling stamps by Tim Holtz. Love this background!
While making the background portion of tag, "Three Coins in the Fountain" movie came to me. It's one of my favorite older movies.
I stamped the cling stamp by Julie Nutting 2014 line-up on watercolor paper and then stamped legs from another Julie Nutting's doll stamped images to make her look like she was walking in spring time.
I designed her hat from a piece of manila paper and then colored it with distress inks.
The flowers are by Prima. 3D Smile from my stash. Designer papers were used to make her clothing.
