12 Tags of 2015 ~ July

I spent several days thinking; how can I used my stamps with Tim's techniques? In my stash, I had one cling set that represents the 4th of July; CMS #122 by Tim Holtz.

I used #122 cling set, distress inks, distress stains, water brush, archival black ink, tissue paper, #8 manila tag, glue stick, glue n' seal, crinkle ribbon, star idea-ology, loop pin, resist, watercolor paper and my sewing machine.

This is Tim's July 2015 tag:

It's nice to challenge yourself to come up with a version of someone else's work once in a while. Love the red, white, & blue. I've joined an ATC club again that meets once a month for a little fun this summer -- kinda taking a break from researching my 3rd great-grandfather after my presentation talk in Lincoln, IL the end of May. I've posted my cards for the swap. . .
