Beautiful Lady ~ Coloring Challenge

This is my card for day 18 of The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge!

My Grandmother wore a hat similar to this when she married in 1913. I wish she was still alive so I could give her this card. My grandmother was beautiful in every way.
Yeah, I finished a card today instead of showing a stamped and color image. Copic markers were used to color image. I had previously made this Gelli prints background for card front. The word beautiful in a TH thinlits die.

Cottage ~ Coloring Challenge

Today I'll share another  image from an etched stamp I purchased 20 years ago.
The image was inked with Memento tuxedo black onto Neenah 110 lb solar white card stock.
I used a simple watercoloring with Copic markers to color the image.
This piece will be added to a card or journal page.
I'm including this as my day 17 for the 30 day color challenge by Kathy on The Daily Marker.

Homemade Pen Holders

Something you might know about me, I was a seamstress long before stamping and when I saw Kathy share a post on cuffed fabric bins she liked, I knew how they could be made. In fact I didn't look on their website until today after mine where made.
I made mine with linen fabric and to keep the bags from collapsing I inserted an empty cardboard tissue roll. When dear hubby worked he would bring these empty rolls home to me.  These rolls measure 3 1/4" x 3 1/2" I've also made pencil holders from other cardboard cylinders.
I was inspired to make my pen holders from Kathy's blog post: http://www.thedailymarker.com/2016/01/getting-organized-giveaway

12 Tags of 2016 ~ February

This year Tim shares a "Technique Remix" for each of his 12 Tags of 2016. This month is a technique remix of monoprint and textured paste.
This tag was made over the last 6 days and I do believe it is finished now.
I used three original size TH stencils, TH molding paste, TH distress markers, TH movers and shapers heart die,  TH Distress inks,  TH Photobooth and Chit-chat ideology, TH manila tag, TH heat gun and other stamping supplies from my stash.
I had the photo Tim used but loved the little girl from pack for my tag.
