I was doing pretty good and then it happened. I was putting the holly sprig together with hot glue. The hot glue got one my fingers and without thinking I touched my other hand and had hot glue on both hands and fingers. Ouch! It's my first accident I've had with hot glue. I was pulling off the hot glue and skin came with it. It was in ice water and now have cooling gel on my fingers and hands to finish this tag.
Now on with this tag.
I made a stamp using Tim's tutorial: https://timholtz.com/12-tags-of-christmas-2011/
So happy I had the Cut n' Dry stamp pad felt on hand. I recall seeing Tim do this technique when he was on Carol Duvall Show many years ago.
I made due with the Distress reinkers I had on hand and stamped on Kraft cardstock.
I followed the instructions Tim used but finished the sprig using Silhouette digital cut images. I used alcohol inks on bling. (red berries)
The star at the top is from Tim's idea-ology.

great job on the tag! sorry about the hot glue. I haven't been using my hot glue regularly anymore but years ago when I did lace crafts I hot glued my fingertips regularly.
Great tag. sorry for the glue on your fingers
Ouch!!! I hate when the glue gun decides it's boss. hope the fingers are better because I can't wait to see the rest of your tags.
Ouch on the glue gun.....but loved the tag.
Great tag this is, Judy!
Great looking tag Judy, sorry to hear about the hot glue accident. Hopefully your finger will heal soon.
Judy, your tag is great. Your greenery is my favorite I have seen so far. Sorry about your fingers. Yesterday was my first time to ever use a glue gun, and I had a little mess but no burn.
Hope your fingers and hand heals up quickly. Love your tag!
Hope you feel better soon! Love the tag!
Well, at least it turned out great despite your painful hands now. Be careful girl! Those things are hot!
