All Things Grow with Love

I made this tag using one of tim's flower stamps, a sentiment from my stash and a purple tag made  from one of my purple folders. I can make 6 #8 tag using tim's tag die with a heavy duty folders.
The flower  stamps were inked with black archival on glossy card stock and then watercolor crayons were used to color flowers and stem. A black distress marker was used with air spritzer around the tag.

Take days to finish a card or just color. 30 days of color therapy and entertainment is coming to you. Are you ready to join me again? Let the fun begin. See you in a few days! Hugs, Kathy

This will be my first time to join in the 30 day challenge. Come join her Daily Coloring Challenge with me Oct 1 - Oct 30, 2015.

Art is the.......

Hello Friends, I felt like sitting down and color something with sprays and inks. I stamped both images with black archival ink over the sprayed background.
I'll finish making this piece into a card when I feel better.

Note:
My dear hubby walks a lot since he was diagnosed this spring with diabetes and had a stent surgery  August 4. Now he walks around three miles a day. I've joined him a few times when he walked a mile. I should have stayed home this past Monday, its over a mile around a walking track filled with lots of trees, within hours of coming home I was sick. I have a sinus infection and have had several bouts with asthma. Last time this happened, it was last May when everything was blooming out, I ended up in the ER and before that, I was in the ER last February with Bronchitis and asthma.

September 2015 Tag

I was playing around with Tim's tutorial for September tag and thought what if I apply texture paste over a layering stencil instead of the texture paste with transparent gloss and see what happens.
Here are the results!

I've already made my 12 Tags of 2015 tag for September; you can see it here:

Butterfly Tag

I couldn't wait to finish my tag after making the beautiful green background. I wish I had taken a photo of it before applying stamped images.
I used CMS 213 Perspective stamp set by Tim Holtz to finished my tag.
Distress inks were used to ink numbers stamp and quote. The butterfly image was inked with black archival ink and then watercolored.

12 Tag of 2015 ~ September

I had fun making my tag this month!
Even though my alcohol inked background is not as vibrant as tim's, I like how it turned out.

I used a different TH stamp, different TH stencil, different TH word band, and a different color of ink to stamp the butterflies on the clear film.
I had all but one of the alcohol inks Tim used on his tag but somehow all I got was a little plum, yellow and purple twilight and lots of gold on four pieces of glossy paper. I'm planning on making another tag next week.

Since March, i'm still trying to find things after everything was removed from my stamping room. The natural trimming was one of the things I couldn't find this week. I used tim's tiny stapler to apply a ribbon to finish this tag.

Happy Stamping Everyone!

I really like tim's tag!

Crazy Bird Tag

I'm challenging myself to use different supplies from my stash.
I've had #5 tag in my stash even before they were popular; the tag I used today had print on one side and plain or the other. Its original purpose: tag for recharged fire extinguishers from fire marshal. They are new and never used from 1980-83.
I stamped, inked, and embossed over the printed tag before applying my watercolored die cut crazy bird to this tag.

Supplies:
Tim Holtz; stamps, die cut, embossing folder, distress inks
Ranger; black archival ink, adhesive
EK punch; 0 negative
Watercolor crayons, watercolor paper, manila, scissors, black seam binding
