Coloring Challenge Day 30 ~ ATC

ATC

Today is my last day of The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge; each day I made and posted a card, tag and today an ATC.

My ATC was made using the letter A from a set of unmounted stamps I bought years ago from The Stampsmith. Copic markers were used to color the lady image with A; and then I inked an image by HeroArts with memento black ink using a masking technique.

E00 Copic marker was used to color background stamped image and then tea dye distress ink was applied to edges to finish.

I enjoyed sharing here on my blog and on Kathy's blog during the last 30 day although I don't know if I could keep it up very much longer.

One of Tim's embossing folders was distress inked, 4"x 5 1/4" card stock was added and then embossed. Additional distress ink was applied to the textured card stock and then adhere to folded card.

I'm late posting my 12 Tags of 2015 ~ October.

Crazy bird was inked, colored, die cut eyes, die cut hat, die cut body, die cut wings were applied to tag using 3-d foam adhesive or glossy accents.

It's been a busy month on my blog, for the last 28 days, I've been making a card or tag during a 30 day coloring challenge. Each day, I was going to take time to do my October tag but something seemed to come up each day. It's been hectic around here. This afternoon while it was quiet in the house I made my tag for 12 Day of 2015 October. Yeah!

Coloring Challenge Day 28 ~ A Warm Hello

Coloring Challenge Day 28

plus RV 21 and C0

Remember a few days ago, Kathy did a piece using grey and green Copics, on that day I made a few addition pieces and set those aside. Today, I picked up one of the flower images and decided it needed a little bit more color, so I had Copics RV21 in the center and blended it with C0. I love it!
This sentiment from Hero Arts is always near my craft table when making a quick card.
My card was finished with black card stock, spellbinder die cut and then added to my folded card. Tiny satin ribbon was tied to fold of card to finish.

Coloring Challenge Day 27 ~ Fall Wreath

I used a spellbinder die to cut out my Copic colored fall wreath and then used my square die to cut out an orange piece of card stock. Both pieces were glued to a half folded card and tiny gold string was tied on fold to finish.
Now looking at it, I wish I had tried a different color to compliment the fall wreath. It's been a hectic day and getting this card finished for Coloring Challenge Day 27.

Coloring Challenge Day 25 ~ Gray Roses

Kathy shared using grey on her flowers, that is a new technique for me. First I colored tulips, next daisies, and then roses, I like the roses best of all and will use them as my coloring challenge day 25.
I used two die cuts, two stamps and these Copic sketch makers on this card front.

Coloring Challenge Day 22 ~ You Make Life Sweet

This morning I used Copic sketch markers to color the hollyhocks stamped image on Neenah paper, and then allergies and dry eye syndrome kept me from finishing my card till this evening. My hollyhock stamp purchased years ago is the perfect size to use with ATCs or mat to make a card like I made today. My tiny sentiment was inked with Memento on Neenah paper and then applied to pink dotted ribbon. Light pink folded card stock was used to finish my card.
These are the Copic sketch markers, ink pad and rubber stamps used on my card:

Coloring Challenge Day 21 ~ What if?

You are probably wondering why I stamped the quote What if? I inked, stamped and painted daises with Copic markers and then fussy cut the framed stamped image.
Next, I applied the daisies to a Gelli arts painted tag.  Here comes the What if? I inked a quote with black ink and it didn't show up due to the busy background. Instead of tossing it out and starting over, I looked through some of word stamps and found the perfect stamp to ink on Neenah paper, trim close and cover over the image that didn't show.
An applicator with antique linen distress ink was used with a small honey comb stencil over the white portions of Neenah paper. To finish, I used wild honey distress to color trim and tie to tag.

Coloring Challenge Day 20 ~ Crazy Bird Tag

A Gelli arts printed paper was made into a tag and then finished using two stencils, a stamped spider web, a stamped quote, tissue tape, a crazy bird stamped, die cut, added extra die cut wings, die cut hat and a die cut pumpkin treat bag. I used glossy accents over the extra set of die cut eyes. Copic Sketch markers were used to color the images.

I had fun making these flowers with Copic markers using Kathy's technique after I made the card above. I'll work on making them better and add them to a project soon.

Coloring Challenge Day 15 ~ Tulip Card

Flower stamps were all the rage in the 90's when I started stamping, actually my first stamp was a flower stamp! I really enjoyed making my card today, this is one of my favorite stamps. The stamped image was inked with Memento black ink on Neenah paper, and then Copic Sketch were used to color stamped image. I should have taken a little more time adding some shadow. Oh, well next time.  I used a trimmed piece of gold paper behind the floral image and then added it to a hot pink folded card to finish. Below is a photo of the Copic used on this card.
I forgot to make it look like it is sitting down. -(

I used a stencil from my stash with tumbled glass distress ink over my card.

Coloring Challenge Day 11 ~ Each Day Is A New Life

I was inspired to make this card today using a flower stamp and quote I've had many years. I used the following sketch markers on this card.
Memento black ink was used on Neenah card stock.

Copic Sketch Markers
Today, I was viewing one of Kathy's videos. She had a good tip, put a scrap piece of paper under your card stock when using Copic markers.
I did that today and it worked much better.
Thanks Kathy!

Coloring Challenge Day 9 ~ Yellow Flowers

Over the last three days, I've been hard at work in my stamping room. Many of my mounted stamps have been in my storage room until I felt well enough to bring them back in.
I chose this stamp to use for my coloring challenge day 9. The stamp was inked with Memento black onto Neenah white card stock.  Copic markers were used to color image and background. The border edge was done with a Copic marker and a clear ruler. The inked stamped image was applied to a trimmed piece of yellow card stock and then onto and trimmed dark green card stock.
Have a great day!

Today, I was inspired to made a tag for my coloring challenge day 8. The flower stamp was inked with black archival on Neenah card stock. Distress markers were used to color roses, leaves and vase. Black archival ink was used to stamp Happy Birthday on purple manila tag. After the stamped piece was applied to the tag, I used a foam applicator tool with distress ink around the outside edges of tag and on the white portion of stamped image.

Coloring Challenge Day 7 ~ Fall Tag

I was inspired to make a tag for my Coloring Challenge Day 7.

Post update 10/8/15
So sorry I didn't feel like posting much yesterday.
Over the last two days I've been bringing in stamps and supplies from my storage room, they have been there since last April when we had to replace the wood and flooring in stamping room.
Yes, I used Copic markers on my stamped images. The tag is actually an orange heavy duty manila folder that I die cut into a tag.
Distress inks were used to tone down the edges of stamped piece, around edges of tag and trim tied to tag.

Coloring Challenge Day Six ~ Flower Card

Have you ever spent time making a card and pick the wrong adhesive and have it run over the frame of the card, to repair it, I used a sanding tool. It's too late in the day to start over so I'll go ahead and share my card for coloring challenge day 6.

Kathy's Day 6 blog post is here: http://www.thedailymarker.com/2015/10/day-6/
