Prima Doll with Handmade Flower

Hi again, if you saw my last post, here is the tag I made using my Julie Nutting paper doll stamped image; Natalie. I dressed her with Prima designer paper. I used a variety of stamps from my stash including some from Prima and Graphic 45. The flower is circles hand cut using fine netting in different colors and finished off with a bead that was wired though netting to back. Glue n' Seal was used to apply flower to tag.

I used Tim Holtz and Little B paper tape across the bottom. Chit-Chat by Tim Holtz and cute little butterfly by Prima. Finished tag 4 by 8."

Another Handbag

I was in Joann's on Saturday and passed by this beautiful material, I couldn't resist buying some to make some handbags. Yesterday, I used my single handle pattern to make this bag.
I also made a tag using one of my newest paper doll stamped images and a handmade flower using fabric circles. I'll show that later today or tomorrow.

Handbags by Me

I love my new purse/handbag. I made this bag last week and finished it today with a handmade flower from my favorite stretchy red sweater that was passed repairing. I created the design of the handbag. My sweaters/flower made a nice addition to my bag, the flower is similar to yo-yo's.
The handle was made with red canvas material.

I should have enough handbags, I've made 12 recently and a few more cut out and ready to sew just as soon as I heal from eye surgery. Right now, it's difficult to see what I'm typing. I'm not trying to keep up with my mother, she has made 75+ this year. You can see some of the handbags my mother has made here: http://wwwstampedimpressions.blogspot.com/2014/04/handbags-by-jo.html

12 Tags of 2014 ~ June

I really enjoyed making my June tag following Tim's technique.
I finished my tag late last evening but waited to take the photo outside for first photo.
Thanks Tim for sharing your beautiful June tag: http://timholtz.com/12-tags-of-2014-june/

Update on June 4
My tag looks a lot better than the one I posted yesterday on Tim's website, so today I made a close up and a video just for fun. This is with indoor light.
I think this has taught me to check out two views before uploading on Tim's site.

I changed my tag a little bit, I used Burlap TH007 stencil and Tim/Stamper Anonymous Papillon CMS:106 stamp set, regular distress ink pads, trim, matte coated paper, manila tag, ribbon and clock from my stash.
I cut-out my butterflies, folded wings up, applied a piece of Glue Lines to body and then attach to tag.   Love the 3D effect.
I love Paula's ribbon bow technique Tim shared and attempted to make mine look as good as his.
I used 36 inches of ribbon to make my bow.
