Happy Birthday

I made this tag using some of my new stamps: TH flower garden stamp set and TH bird crazy stamp set! The flowers were stamped over a background of stenciled Gelli paper and then painted. The crazy bird was stamped on Gelli Paper background with black ink. Textured paste was added on tag using a layering stencil. An addition crazy bird was stamped on watercolor paper, painted, cut-out and then applied to tag. I used black card stock with TH thinlits dies for happy birthday. The tag was finished with inked edges and crinkle ribbon. 

12 Tags of 2015 ~ July

 I spent several days thinking; how can I used my stamps with Tim's techniques? In my stash, I had one cling set that represents the 4th of July; CMS #122 by Tim Holtz.

I used #122 cling set, distress inks, distress stains, water brush, archival black ink, tissue paper, #8 manila tag, glue stick, glue n' seal, crinkle ribbon, star idea-ology, loop pin, resist, watercolor paper and my sewing machine.

Moments

I used one of my new thinlits dies by tim holtz on this tag, tim holtz scribbles layering stencil and tim's new mermaid lagoon distress ink. I made a fence stamp with tim's on the edge die using a piece of fun foam, it was mounted on clear plastic using glue n' seal. After drying, it was used with archival black ink over stenciled tag.
The bird stamped image by dyan wakley was inked with archival black ink and then painted using her heavy body paints. The crinkled ribbon was inked with mermaid lagoon distress ink and vintage photo distress ink. I used a brown file folder with thinlits die, vagabond and magnetic platform.
