Spooky Tag

I didn't like the background portion of this tag until I added picked raspberry distress ink over the top. I stamped a script image covering the tag using jet black archival ink and heat set to dry. Then, I applied the tag to a piece of manila card stock that was cut larger than tag to give it a framed look. Next, I used an applicator tool to apply moved lawn distress ink around edges of manila piece. I love the results!

I stamped and die cut the adorable little crazy bird onto watercolor paper using jet black archival ink and heat set to dry. Then, I used a water brush with my watercolor crayons to color the bird. My crazy bird was glued onto the tag, and then I glued the derby hat and necktie onto the crazy bird. The eyes, beak and wing die cut pieces were watercolored and then glued to give my crazy bird dimension.

I stamped spooky and bird images with jet black archival ink onto tag, and then I used clear embossing powder, pouring off extra, and then used my craft heat tool. (You have to do this quickly before the archival dries)

You not alone if you are wondering why I put a bird on a bird? My dear hubby asked me the same thing.
