Blue Bird with Butterfly

I had fun making this tag using one of the bird stamps by Dina Wakley. The bird was painted with Dina's heavy body paints. I made the tag using manila folder with my Tim Holtz die. I used Dina Wakley's paints on the tag, Dyan Reaveley stencil, Tim Holtz stencil and finished it off; using gesso with a jar lid. The butterfly was stamped on the tag and then on a separate card stock I inked the butterfly again and then added color with Dina's paints, it was then cut out and applied to tag leaving the wings free making them look 3-D. The branch the bird is sitting was made with my scissors and then painted with Dina's umber paint. Trim added to top was inked with distress inks.
