Mixed Media Mini Book Pg.1

I'm adding this page for Day 24 of the 30 day coloring challenge by Kathy Racoosin.
I used Tim's collage medium to apply tissue wrap to cover page and then used a plastic spatula to apply a little gesso over the tissue wrap.
Next, I added a little bit of distress crayons using my fingers to spread out and over the page.
The little girls image is from Tim's new supplies called; Paper Dolls, these were purchased at JoAnn's. I added trimmed black card stock around the little girls.
"Today is the day" stamp and die set by Richard Garay purchased at Hobby Lobby.
Prima flowers, glitz, and a 4x8 inch Maya Road rectangular tabbed chipboard album was purchased at Tuesday Morning.
All images were applied using collage medium purchased at Michael's.

Happy Halloween

I had a lot of fun creating this piece using lots of Tim Holtz products.
I used die cuts, stamps and embossing folder on this piece.
Love the TF embossed background it looks and feels like wood.

December 7th Tag

December the 7th!
I've enjoyed making each tag to share here on my blog!

I inked the music stamp on #8 manila tag with black ink and then sprayed it with perfect pearls. Set this aside to dry.
On trimmed manila, stamp Christmas Carols with archival black, immediately add clear embossing powder, pour off extra and heat set to glossy finish. Festive berries inked applicator was used to color piece. Sprinkle with water and heat dry.
Apply Christmas Carols to tag with glue n' seal. Use distress tool around outside of tag and then use inked applicator to color edges.
Ink trim with festive berries, wad up and heat set to dry. Add to top of tag, string gold bell with gold thread and then tie to trim.

Thanks for viewing my tag. Come back tomorrow!

12 Tags of 2012 ~ December x 2

Wow! I love what Tim shared on his blog December 1, 2012!  http://timholtz.com/12-tags-of-2012-december/
I was inspired to make this tag using his techniques on snowman card using All things Tim except I didn't have his metallic stain, word play die and metal embellishment.
I used what I had on hand using watered down dabber paint for the metallic stain. I was pleased with the results. I wish those metallic stains were available at Hobby Lobby or Michael's. Kraft core paper was used on the folded card.
My little Tim Holtz snowman was cut out and painted weeks ago and just sitting there. Thanks Tim for the inspiration to finish my tag!

Now, I'll share my second tag! I love Tim's poinsettia die!

Glossy accents on the die cut image as well as dabber paint with distress stain was used on this #8 tag. Tim's tissue wrap was applied to grungepaper poinsettia die cuts with glue n' seal. The tiny silver stickers/ from theNetherlands was applied on the green metallic folded card. My poinsettia die cut and added to the tag with 3D foam dots.
Thanks for Looking! I've enjoyed making all of my tags this year from viewing
 Tim's 12 tags of 2012.
