Count Down to Halloween Day 3

Day 3 tag was made with another Gelli printed paper. This paper was made on the third pull using acrylic paint, it had just enough paint to make this a one of a kind background to adhere to #8 manila tag.
Archival black ink was used to stamp images.

I'm added these tags to Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, "A Spooky Season."

and here for a Wednesday Challenge
Simon says ... Halloween Colors
http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/

It was a fluke of luck that the green paint was on the paper and now over the house, couldn't have made it better. ... Love how it turned out.

Once I got started, I couldn't stop making these Halloween tag.

Today, I'll share two tags.
I used a variety of stamps and chipboard from my stash over the Gelli Printed paper background. I love making Gelli paper backgrounds to use with my stamping supplies.
This tag could easily be added to a folded card to send out. Better hurry it's almost Halloween.

Come back to view Day 4.
Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day.

12 Tags of 2013 ~ October X 2

i knew Tim would do something with his new dies and distress glitter.

My first tag, I used my digital craft cutter to make frame, owl and moon. I used Tim's techniques on these pieces.
I used Tim's magnetic branch die cut, it was trimmed and applied behind frame with glossy accents. All these pieces were distress inked and embellished with glitter from my stash.
I haven't bought any of Tim's new distress glitter and his new dies; they are on my wish list.
Peeled paint, wild honey, seedless preserves and antique linen distress paints were used on manila tag as described on Tim's blog.
Black soot distress ink was applied around both tags.
Gold embellishment added to tag.
Coordinating distress inks were used on both crinkle ribbons.
Check out Tim's 12 tags for October,
Second tag:
Black glitter was used over black soot inked cat and bat images.
I left the seedless preserves distress inked frame as is without the glitter. Love how the spider web looks in the opening of frame.
The spider web, bat and spider stamps were used from these sets: Tim's  CMS #05, CMS #113 and CMS #115.
CMS #155 Simple Saying used on both tags.

Thanks Tim for the inspiration!
I can't wait to see each of the Halloween tags on Tim's blog.

With a few stamps from my stash, a few stamps from my mother's stash this tag was easy to make. I've had this little magnetic typewriter die for months, this is the first time to use it on this tag.

Prima supplies: postage stamp, flowers, tag.
140 lb cold press watercolor paper on smooth side with Archival black ink to stamp Prima doll images.
Vintage lace was added to tag to finish. I used 3-D dots to raise the mixed media doll.
